About This Role The Aircraft Worker is responsible for maintenance actions on Airborne Tactical Advantage Company’s aircraft as well as the safe and expeditious launch and recovery flight line operations at permanent and detachment sites.
Responsibilities
Aircraft workers assist in routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning aircraft parts, checking for wear and tear, and replacing minor components. Their work helps prevent major technical issues.
They support detailed inspections of aircraft systems including engines, landing gear, fuel systems, and electrical components to ensure everything is functioning properly.
While major repairs are handled by certified technicians, aircraft workers assist in diagnosing problems and performing basic repairs under supervision.
Operating specialized tools and ground support equipment is a regular part of the job. Proper handling and maintenance of these tools are essential.
Following strict safety protocols is a top priority. Aircraft workers must adhere to all Air Force regulations and industry standards to maintain a safe working environment.
They assist in maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs, ensuring compliance with operational guidelines.
